Save our Bridleways

Message from Sevenoaks Riding Club bridleways officer.

Call for help from riders of more senior years!

I am seeking evidence to apply for a Definitive Map Modification Order for footpaths 115 and 116, hoping to upgrade these to bridleways. Path 115 runs from Godden Green, near the Bucks Head Inn, roughly NE to Hall Place, on the Stone Street road. Path 116 continues this line up to Seal Chart common. I believe that path 115 was ridden regularly up till around 1970, when a stile was erected on it. I would be very pleased to hear from anyone who has ridden these paths in the past, especially prior to 1970, and also from anyone who knows of someone who might have done so.
