We have decided to change the date for the Annual Show to the 27th June. We are hoping that moving the show towards the end of June will ensure that spectators will be able to attend the competition and provide support to competitors.
We would like to thank Hilden Feeds for being the title sponsor of the Sevenoaks Rdiding Club Annual Show. Hilden Feeds are based in Coldharbour Lane in Tonbridge and offer a wide range of animal feed, bedding and accessories.

BRC have refunded 3 months of the 2020 membership and therefore we would like to ask any previous members that are looking to join again in 2021 to deduct £4 from the price stated on the form. If you have already paid your membership we will be in contact.
The Novice Winter Dressage will take place on November 29th at Petley Wood.
The tests are P2, P7, N24 and N27.
Please could you let me know by November 1st which class you would like to do. Please ensure that both you and your horse are eligible, under Riding Club rules, to do the test you choose. Please also ensure that your vaccination certificate is up to date with the 6 month rule. Please check the BRC Rulebook, available online, if you have any doubts about either your vaccination or eligibility.
I’m really hoping many of us will represent Sevenoaks at this event. There will be an Intermediate qualifier at a later date but I do not yet have details.
Simon Laurens will be coming to Redlands for an extra day in November which will be the Sunday before on the 22nd. This will be an ideal opportunity to run through your test and get some tips! If you would just like a lesson with him that’s fine too. 40 minutes for £45, members (£50 non members).

*** We will be leaving June’s house at 12:40***
It is with great regret and sadness that we have learnt of the passing of June Burgess. She has been a key member of Sevenoaks Riding Club for many years. She has inspired and encouraged riders both young and old over the years and will be very much missed”
If you want to say farewell to June she will be leaving her house at 1pm on the 5th October and the hearse will go through the village to St. George's church In Weald village (near Hubbards Hill). Obviously due to the current rules only invited guests will be allowed into the church.
Pleasure Ride Sunday 20 September 2020
By kind permission of the Owlett family.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU OR ANYONE THAT YOU ARE IN CONTACT WITH HAS ANY COVID 19 SYMPTOMS
Hopefully I have put everyone in their requested group. If I have you with the wrong people please feel free to join your friends group.
Please remember that we cannot have more than 5 in a group because of the Covid rules (5 plus the steward/ marshal = group of 6)
There is a small amount of road work so we advise that you wear some Hiviz for your own safety.
We are very lucky that the Owletts give us access to their lovely farm, please treat it with respect. Sarah has advised me that in all of the fields you should ride across the middle as if there are bunny holes they will be close to the edges. You are welcome to do more than one circuit of any field, there are lots of opportunities to canter.
See you all on Sunday.
