We had 3 teams representing Sevenoaks Riding Club at Felbridge for the Combined Training qualifier. The junior team of Neve Gregory, Sophie Hollands and Evie Kerry came 3rd. Neve came 3rd individually, Evie 4th and Sophie 6th and just missed out on qualifying for Aston Le Walls
The senior teams also had a great weekend but just missed out on qualifying as well. The Sevenoaks B team of Emma Whittington, Marni Bassi and Charlotte Payne came 4th and the Sevenoaks A team of Liz Finlason, Janet Phillips, Emma Whittington and Sarah Crookenden came 5th. Emma Whittington came 2nd on both Nemo and Twilight Affair and has qualified individually. Marni and Janet both produced fabulous tests and also got placed.
Well done to all members of the team and thank you for everyone that helped on the day #SRC

The Sevenoaks senior team got some great results to finish 2nd as a team at the Intermediate Dressage qualifier just 1 point behind team winners Battle. Georgie Siggers won the Prelim 13 section with a score of 71.92% to qualify individually, Caroline Sheridan came 2nd in the Novice 28 with 70%, Emma Whittington came 6th with 64.76% in the Novice 34 and Jenny Smith finished 7th with 64.69 in the Elementary section. Rosie Sharpe was our only junior member representing Sevenoaks and finished on a fab score of 66.53% to take 2nd place in the Prelim 13 #SRC
Congratulations to the junior team of Katie Clyne, Evie Kerry and Tillie Woods who had a great weekend at Aston Le Walls for the Junior 80cm Arena Eventing Championships. The team finished 11th and unfortunately just outside of the rosettes due to some fast clear rounds that were slightly over the optimum time! Katie Clyne finished with just 6 time faults to finish 11th individually and sadly just outside of the placings.
Arena Eventing is a new championship for 2019 and combines a course of show jumps with cross country fences at heights of 70cm - 110 cm for junior and senior riding club members. The last fence of the course consists of a joker fence that is set 10cm higher than the rest of the course. If you are interested in taking part next year look out for the qualifier in the late Autumn #SRC
