Area Novice Winter Dressage

Ardingly RC took both the junior and
senior qualifying places at the first running of the Novice Winter Dressage Qualifier.
Sevenoaks sent two junior teams. Alice Somerset, Alice Burgess, Rohan and Khia
Cadney-Moon were placed third with individual placings of third, third, fifth and first.
Clare Somerset, Vicky Lawrence and
Steff Lawrence were unplaced but Clare had an individual fourth in her arena.
Three senior teams competed. The best team result was fourth, going to the
combination of Tonia Jerrett, Briony Bunch, Lorna Davis and Debbie Selden. Debbie was second in her arena. Sixth team place went to Dawn Carpenter, Eleanor
Comer, Laura Reeves and Maureen McDonnell. Ronnie
Comfort, Rebecca Smith, Jo Thomas and Sue Pinks were just outside the placings.
Dawn won her arena but unfortunately,
like Khia, she won’t be going to Hartpury as there are no individual qualifications
in the winter championships..
