Area Show Horse Trials, Borde

Sevenoaks
Riding Clubs junior riders continued their winning streak at the Area 10 Horse
Trials at Borde Hill in Sussex.

Alice
McCready (Reckless Ruby), Alice Somerset (Golden Island Star), Ellie Duggan (Carnsdale
Hero) and Hannah Stevens (Magical Murphy) took the top four individual places to win the
Junior Novice team section in stunning style. Ellie Wilson (Malones Mate) was sixth.
The team will go on to the British Riding Clubs Horse Trials Championship at
Aston-le-Walls in August.
In the
Junior Intermediate section, Jessica Sneddon (Poly Ruler) was third and qualified for the
Championship as the highest placed individual not in the winning team. Emma Howard (Hugo)
was fourth and Lizzie McCready (Castle Clover) sixth. With Rohan Cadney-Moon (Hallmark),
they took second place as a team; all four riders having clear show jumping and
cross-country jumping rounds

The Senior
Intermediate team, Sara Roberts (Padstow Bay), Vicki Laurence (Monarcs Mission),
Laura Reeves (Ballygowan Ludo) and individual fifth, Jenny Mills (Ratina), took second
team place behind a strong Ardingly team.

Claire
Turley (Cartron Belle), riding as an individual for the club for first time at this level,
excelled, winning the competition. She qualified to take part in the long format
Intermediate Three Day Event at the Championship.
Despite
losing one team member, Sue French (Wolfgang Dream Maker), Jo Donaldson (Ryan) and Sarah
Crookenden (Teddy) were sixth in the Senior Novice class.
